Which grading system should I use?
Use the grading system in your specification or required by your client. Penetration, viscosity and performance grades describe the material differently and do not convert directly. Include the system and grade number.
Does bulk or packed delivery make a difference?
Yes. Bulk bitumen needs heated storage and suitable unloading arrangements. Drums and bags do not need those bulk facilities, but have different freight and handling needs. Tell us which format you can receive.
Why do you need delivery dates at the start?
Bitumen demand is seasonal in most markets, which affects availability. Your delivery date range helps us assess options for that period.
Can you source modified or polymer-modified bitumen?
Please send the specification. Modified grades need different sourcing from straight-run bitumen, so we will assess your specific requirement.
Do you need the destination for bitumen?
Yes. Bitumen is usually moved in heated vessels or containers, so freight and the receiving arrangements depend strongly on the destination. Tell us the port or site and how far the material travels after arrival.
